This machete is made from 1/16" ATS-34. It has been given a special heat treatment, using unique parameters and equipment. The machete sports a short convex edge and is honed razor sharp. Very light in weight, you can swing this machete fast. It does a great job on fleshly vines and scrub brushes. The cord wrapped handle provides a good grip and is soft and shock absorbing. The cord can easily be changed for a fresh look or to inspect the whole blade. The bare blade can be re-tempered to relieve some of the built up stress. The machete comes in a fitted Kydex scabbard with a shoulder strap for ease of carry.
