Ira is definitely one of the kindest people I have ever met... I contacted him via e-mail once to ask for help and he did exactly that, without even knowing me personally. That is a sign of great character.

you may want to try Dr. Mark Bilsky who is a neurosurgeon at sloan kettering.....i grew up with this guy and he is also originally from memphis....we didnt go to the same med school but he does have a sterling reputation....i dont know what it would take to get in to see him but i will give his father a call today to see how you can contact the guy

if mark is anything like he was when he and i were growing up in memphis he is excellent.....i cant speak about his bedside manner but when it comes to the need for a really good cutter i often never consider the formalities of bedside manner when i consult a surgeon i need for my patients....results are what counts to me....you always want a surgeon who can think as well as cut and mark fits that bill

if mark cant help you due to "turf" he very well may be able to refer you to someone who can offer the help you need

Good luck. I don't know of anyone else who could have a better chance of whipping this after everything else you're already gone through.
