Not to worry, I just bought 3 BK9's, they're just nice to have around!
I bought them before I read Cliff's test, but the one I have seems O.K.
A friend of mine has the BK1- It seems a bit rough with a chisel grind-
which seems very uneven from edge to edge.
 
I know this is an older post, but I don't get around here much anymore.

Personally, I think the 16.5 CAK is the way to go. Before mine walked off :(, I beat on the thing for a long time and, outside of a bent tip (don't ask), nary a problem one.

Never polished the Cho. :D

It was the only one I had for years. :eek:

I'll probably replace it with the same, eventually.

Oh, Amtrak made mine and it was very well executed. Horn handle fit me well, ring and all.
