August 2020 Buck of the Month - Released

ARGH!!!!! Why a un-ergonomic clip to cause a hotspot in an extended use situation(s)?!?
If not for that (and probably no sheath included) ... The red micarta, nickel silver bolster, and barehead looks nice ... IMHO it would look a wee bit smoother without all them clip screw holes and clip .... A lanyard hole, tube, or bail would be more useful for things like I.
Very sorry, but me, myself and I despise clips. Please forgive us. :(

I'll guess it will sell out in a few hours, at most.
Can't you just remove the clip and add your own sheath? :)

Actually I was on Buck's website to grab some of those cups and the BOTM showed up. There was only one cup left, so this knife got me free shipping on the cup.
I saved $8.50!:D
If I do this 9 more times it will save me enough to get a new 192. oh yeah!

Here's my suggestion.

Limit one knife per customer until 24hours and then let people buy more than one. There may be some people who will game the system and try and buy more than one.I don't expect Buck to police this since some people will always game the system for their benefit.

This just seems more fair, since the interest in these knives have reached such a peak.

Members here at BF have sold the last BOTM on the bay at inflated prices.I don't begrudge them, because the system invites abuse, except it does leave some die hard collectors of Buck knives without anything.

Yes, of course you can. Then you're left with the holes and on a barehead, I don't like the looks.
I saw this when it first showed up. If not for the clip and the fact that I bought two of the 'web exclusive' 110s...nope it was the clip...just don't care for it on the 110. Sure went fast though!

I’m glad I saw the post on the bcci Facebook page. I checked my email and never got a notification from Buck. Usually I get one quick. This one at 6.3 ozs is about 1 oz less weight than a standard 110. I have a slim pro I carry but the slim handle makes it difficult to bare down to cut heavy materials. This standard thick handle is what I’ve been looking for. I’m excited to see how this one carries and cuts.

Tomorrow is my birthday so this is a nice b-day present to myfelf. No need to gift wrap tho. Lol guess I’ll have to bake a cake and use this new knife to cut it. I ran fresh out of cake maker, dishwasher, house cleaner and masseuse. Lol maybe I should see what new models are available now a days and if there are any automatics or maybe a flipper style in a light weight foldable with a great warranty. I prefer blonde but a red head would kinda be nice too. Lol

I would have bought BOTM and probably the web exclusive 110 to get my free shipping but missed out on it by about an hour.

happy bday Sir.

I passed on this one. Had 3 in my cart and changed my mind since I had no interest in keeping any for myself.

I got 3 of the July 112s with no intention on keeping any. I asked several folks here who missed out to make sure they got one before selling them off.

Want to be one of those folks I try to help out when I can? Get yourself a gold membership. Support this site, and get messaging.

Otherwise pay my ebay prices!
