Yeah .. sorry for any confusion, but about the only time I have my sheath threads at night is when I'm having to work the 'day job' on a Tuesday. Kinda rare actually. There will be a week in December when I'm scheduled to teach at the academy again, but otherwise .. thread goes up as close to 11am EST as possible - then I go visit the crew at Fiddleback and post a Sneak Peek tuesday night.

Kinda of what I figured. It just adds beauty to the leather in my opinion.

Yup. Some hides have branding scars, range scars and even parasite scaring. I like hides with character and try to accent those 'character marks' when I find a suitable one for use. I usually use high end European hides - super nice quality/pristine and rarely have scaring. So when I have time, I search through stacks of Oakleaf hides til I find one of suitable quality that has some cool scaring or wrinkles. Benefits of having a Tandy Leather Wholesale warehouse 20 min from me - ability to hand pick my own hides.
