back in the 'shire.
As evidence, I present...

1) the man-fridge: beer, venison chili, greek yogurt (in case Trade drops by), and cookies

2) this time I brought my own knives... :D

Straight through baby. Didn't even slow down.

Hope you didn't flush. You could have had a few more sips.

Hey bud, would you mind telling me what rod holders those are on the kayak? Id really appreciate it.

Those are RAM 2007 holders with bases. The (white) deck, I made out of a cutting board and aluminum plate. With a RAM 1.5" ball extension, it's mounted on a Harmony dashboard that I customized to fit that kayak hatch.

one of the few perks of living in Indy is having Sun King maybe 10 mins away.

I tried the Cream Ale on tap at Yats in Indy. Quite tasty, and they had a fascinating "bottoms-up" tap system.

Found some more pics of the deck and rod holders.

Did you eat at the one in Columbus? The Yats I go to on the South side of Indy doesn't have beer, but I've been hearing about some that do. Yats great though. Just point to anything on the menu and it'll be good!

Massachusetts Avenue.

Speaking of chainsaws...
Can y'all recommend a good one for around $300. My brother and I are going to go halves on it. My old one finally wore out so its time to get spendy with it. :D

2 out of 3 thieves prefer Stihls.
3 of my last 4 have been Stihls. I wore out the McCullough AFTER it was NOT taken by the thieves who took all my other power tools. I'm on my 3rd Stihl. The first 2 were stolen before I could wear them out and I used the heck out of them before they grew legs. In 4 years with the current one, I have only had to take it to the shop 1x and that was due to stupidity. The pull rope jammed and I somehow broke the starter and had to have it replaced about 6 months ago. I cut LOTS of mesquite and hackberry trees along fence lines and in pastures. I have a 16" MS260 Pro. I can cut 99% of what I need to cut with the 16". I have an 20" blade and 1 20" chain for those rare occasions when a really large tree needs cutting up. The 260 has been replaced with the 261.

yogurt + coffee is most regulating...

The only commercial greek yogurt I like these days is Fage, and most I just use it for starter to make my own rockin' yogurt.

if yogurt with active cultures gives you the squirts, you're probably lactose intolerent

cabot makes a 10% milk fat greek yogurt. it's like eating butter. yum.

Ah yes. The original Yats.
I'm going to have to drop back by that one. It's been a few years.... Especially if they have beer.

I think they may have moved down the street.
The place looked pretty new, and I overheard a guy asking if the wall decor had come from "the old place."

They have one of these.

brew it long enough and most of the lactose is digested by the culture.
regulation != ruination :D

The 10% cabot is a bit too... cheesy for me. I make my own with whole milk plus about 30% half&half.

That is freakin cool! Yea, I remember hearing someone say thwt they were or had moved to a new spot. When I went to the one downtown it was fairly small and had a line out the door.

I think my lunch plans are made now. There is another location not far from the office.

You get a souvenir magnet in the bottom of every cup. Collect them all!

That bottoms up beer dispenser is pretty cool!

Having bought a newer vehicle with 7000 miles on it I tend to park out in the boonies of parking lots to avoid door dings. This morning I ran to wally world after work to grab a few things. Being 5:30am, I was the only customer there. I parked closer than normal, but far enough away to avoid the normal people that take the closest spots. When I walked out there was someone just getting in their pickup that had parked right next to me!!! When I unlocked my doors they took off across the parking lot pretty quickly. That made me suspicious, so I checked out the other side of my pickup and the bastard had opened his door into mine!!! It only scuffed it, so it will buff out, but it really annoys me that he took off like that and didn't even attempt to apologize or anything.
