Lol... I live in Canada. I am 1 of lets say 2000 people in a population of 5 million in the area that shoot. I can find ammo no problem.

I don't recall that ever happening. I have a friend and he has this habit of going in the can and taking like 20 minuets to take care of his business just to get some quiet time away from his kids. Except his kids are just old enough now that that's not really necessary.
Well, ain't got nuthin to do today so I think I'm gonna hit the shooting range and try out the H&R I just got done with.

We used to go through multiple crates in a weekend up at my brother in-law's place. We have 4 large blue recycle bins full of 7.62x39 casings lol. Alas home ownership and family tends to eat into my knife / ammo budget.

I have taken both my kids fishing as well... But they get bored too fast. I managed to find a great spot the first time i took them, and both the 7 year old and the 5 year old was able to catch a few fish each in a matter of a couple hours...... They enjoy pulling the fish in, but not waiting for the fish to bite.... And the next time i aked if they wanted to go fishing they said they wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese's.
I was heartbroken, Chuckie Cheese's really? I almost needed a DNA test right then to make sure the kids are really mine LMAO

In the summer time we try to get out as much as we can to my buddies cottage. The boy loves fishing there because you can easily catch those rock bass with almost every cast right off the shore. Little to no waiting required! If you want dinner you need to take the boat out into the lake and then the "real" fishing experience begins (hours of nothingness).

In my dreams; I'll take a traditional style Gladius with a 27 inch long blade that is 1/4 inch thick made out of 3V. With an ebony handle and tapered instead of semi-circle pommel for more skull crushy.

Looks like we have a blizzard hitting us late tonight. It was only supposed to be an inch of snow the last time I checked, but all of a sudden its up to 20 inches of snow. From the sounds of it, its gonna be nasty and schools are already cancelling for tomorrow. Hopefully I can sneak back with the mail before it gets nasty in the morning.
Took the bobbed H&R out for a trial run along with a couple pistols. Tried a 1 1/4 oz slug from it and I doubled over from the pain. This sumbitch kicks worse than anything with slugs. I did it one more time, I think that will be the last time. Ever. Too bad too because it seems to put the slugs right where you point them.
Here's a pic. Two slugs at 25 yards with a bead sight. The lower of the two is the second one I fired so I'm pretty sure I flinched and jerked it. I was probably off on the first one too since I knew it was gonna kick hard.
25 yards with 00 buckshot. Only 5 pellets hit the board, 4 near POA.
hit it with another round of 00 buck at 10 yards and then some bird shot. It buckled the pressboard.
I think I'm going to make some wax slugs and give those a try.
