So my daughter August turned 11 Saturday. Hard to believe. She sure is getting big. We had a little cook out with burgers and such. No big deal really, you know, just a few friends and family.

That "thing" on the left is our very own Murphy, and if you knew that you wouldnt be asking why he had a beer. ;)

She comes home "dad meet my boyfriend" .... and then Todd can be like "Hello, Would you like to see an M-18? Its nice ya? Bring her home by 9 or I'll give you a closer look" lol

I told my wife for every girl we have... I'll double my gun collection :) I think come July if #3 turns out to be a girl... I may have to give Todd a call.

Congrats btw! They always grow up way too quick :(

You will be there before you know it Todd, as you have noticed it goes by so fast. Funny this came up. I just met my daughters first boyfriend Friday night. I always planned to be cleaning a gun and sharpening a knife simultaneously... but decided against it at the last minute. Turns out it wasn't necessary. Took his hand in a death grip, stared into his soul and just said nice to meet you. This nice young man replied....Nnnice too mmmmeeeet you sssssir. Glad it went well. Think hes going to be OK.

That's my friends pickup a few hours ago. He parked there at like 6am. Mine would be similar but I've ran the snow blower a few times already.

What side of the state are you on AC? That looks SO completely different than here today... It's 70°(21c) today, maybe 72°
 
So my Mom and I just walked down to our Mailbox and on the way back I spotted a grape vine, I thought "cool, I'll impress my Mom with my climbing ability!". So I go running over to the vine and say "watch this!", and grab right ahold of it. I get about 4' and that sucker snapped in two places! It hit me right in the face (I have a mark running along the length of my face now) and when I hit the ground it pulled a branch down on me.

My Mom says "Wow! That was really something Kid."

So... Let me get this straight. Instead of chasing down the ladies, you're trying to impress your mom? I mean, I've done some pretty dumb stuff when I was somewhat younger (and I can't say I stopped doing dumb stuff), but damn... :D

Heck ya! made my day.

Time to get me a blank camo hat and sew the BeckerHead patch on. As soon as I get my EDC bag set up I'm going to put on the BK&T patch.
