What side of the state are you on AC? That looks SO completely different than here today... It's 70°(21c) today, maybe 72°

I'm in northeast ND, Devils Lake to be exact. We are in a blizzard warning until tomorrow morning. Its 11°, snowing, and windy as EFF right now.

So my Mom and I just walked down to our Mailbox and on the way back I spotted a grape vine, I thought "cool, I'll impress my Mom with my climbing ability!". So I go running over to the vine and say "watch this!", and grab right ahold of it. I get about 4' and that sucker snapped in two places! It hit me right in the face (I have a mark running along the length of my face now) and when I hit the ground it pulled a branch down on me.

My Mom says "Wow! That was really something Kid."

Im starting to think you might need to be put in one of those bubbles for your own protection....

Yeah... that always ends well

Instead of chasing down the ladies, you're trying to impress your mom?

Turns out, there are downsides to homeschooling. On the other hand...

Brownie points, duh! "If you can make it to the top of that vine, son, I'll pay 1/3 of the $$$ for your THK custom!"

Whatever works for ya, man. :D

I'm actually surrounded by cute girls. Down the road from me there is a house that has three girls; 11, 13, and 14. Up the Haller from me there is a 14 Y/o. And down the road the other way, there is a 12 Y/o. Up the road a little way more there is a 15, and an 18 y/o.

I think the whole teenage dating thing is pathetic and practice for divorce, IMO. Nevertheless, I am very good with the ladies.

Oh, I forgot the other 14 Y/O about two miles away. Her family is quite rough though. I also think that Men shouldn't be "dating" unless they are ready to support a family. IMO.

I LOL'd at "very good with the ladies" must be all the scars.. chicks dig scars LOL

But ill use the line "teenage dating thing is practice for divorce" the first time momma tries and tells me to let our daughter date.

I didnt call it "dating" but i know i was having sex regularly at 14 and sadly i dont think most kids are waiting longer these days..... But if homeschooling makes you think its pathetic i know how ill be schooling my daughter once she hits 13!!

Taking a rest day from climbing. We're in Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia just south of Chattanooga Tennessee. Weather is perfect - perhaps too warm for serious climbing., but ideal for enjoying a few adult beverages. Life is good.

It's not necessarily Homeschooling that gives you that perspective, I know many homeschoolers that do not share my opinion. But I like to think I'm a pretty fart smeller.

Strong opinion there.

Glad it didn't rain on you. Yesterday was freezing rain and snow, forced us into the gym.

The "I'm very good with the ladies"-line was priceless though. You made my day, mountainmist. I can go to sleep now.
All kidding aside, having an opinion is great and I think it's encouraged in many places, and rightly so. That doesn't mean opinions won't change over time. Some of 'em definitely will ;-)
Cheers fellas, g'night.

A very good outlook! I eventually married my first "date".

First day at the new job went very well.
