Had a trade deal going with knifer333 aka Alan White of Austin TX, agreed to mutual shipping and he never sent his end. When I called him on it he gave me a run around and changed his story twice. Talked to him again today and got another story change. Said he'd ship my item back but I'm not holding my breath.

You can hold your breath b/c I just got off the phone with you. The axe is coming back. You sent me a rusted out axe guy. I told you it would be for work related use. You sent a pic of a New looking cold steel norse axe. You told me it was a few years old just hanging on the wall- very acceptable. Whats not acceptable is me sending two brand new knives, a Leek and a Ka Bar Warthog, for a rusted out tool that I cant use. No blade gets rusted out hanging on the wall. Not even a teepee. I have the picture on my computer for all to see. Clearly a brand new Hawk made from O1 tool steel as stated in the email. I had no problem with you Jake. Why this BS on the forums. Just cause I didn't let you rip me off for $100 worth of knives? You would barely stay on the phone five minutes. You'd feel the same way if you were on this side. I thought of you as a stand up guy from the beginning, and you said nothing in our phone conversation of there being a problem. Dont try and snake behinf my back. I offer all my items to be sent first on trades, and expect the same from a non-gold member contacting me for the trade. If your computer worked and your phone worked there would be no problem. Dont be pissed cause you didnt get away with attempted murder. Just let it go and accept you had a severely misrepresented claim. ANYONE can trade me for the items I have listed, and I will send first just to show you this is complete BS. This place has some "Ebayers" in here that try and hold the new users down. I am looking for a fair deal on all trades just like every other hard working man in here. You cant honestly tell me a rusted out Hawk is worth my new knives. Just like I said, you were a good guy on the phone/mail until the item came and it was junk. I offered to send it back, No Problem. You have your item. Atleast you didn't get a few $2-300 knives stolen like this post is really for. Not for people who cant communicate b/c of expensive phone charges. You've had my email for weeks and no word- and then this after our pleasant phone call. Im just letting it go- aint a violent man anymore. Not worth answering to God for others lies. Get the attitude back that you had on the phone and live your life guy. No one needs fake negativity. There hasn't been a bad deal come close.
Funny how all of a sudden your computer is working again. I must have sent you 20 unanswered emails and you then left me a voice mail that it was down and you were returning my end as you werent satisfied with it. What part of any story changed? There are zero emails and my computer wasn't down. It took so long to talk to you b/c of your phone situation that the emails had been erased. Why did you not return the call? Yeah, you waited, but wouldn't spend five minutes to call back so I could get the address. And thats where you messed up. You just told everyone that looks at this post that you accepted the return and were "just waing for it" after my message. How can I mail it when I just told you in the message that the only contact I had with you was your phone number, obvious from your statements too. Why send someone a rusted out tomahawk? I think the other posters will squash this. Even you were nice 30 minutes ago about the whole ordeal. And why wait 4 weeks to post here? Wheres all the posts and 20 emails? This is the obvious spot to come and call me out- but I HAVE BEEN ON THIS FORUM FO THE PAST TWO WEEKS TRADING> WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I have given complete understanding. I can post pics of the hawk and the email you sent, all yahoo verified, of the two completely different items.

And why not just let it go like you did on the phone? Why would anyone deal with you after this? I kept my word to send it back no problems. Thats honorable. Anyone doubt my integrity? I'll send the Ka Bar he was wanting to the first person who thinks I am a dishonest person, who is serious about this situation and can tell me why, and who likes/wants a FREE KaBar. Just because. No questions asked. I'd rather someone grateful have it.

No I did not. Ask ZZ for the emails. I said it would be shipped promptly after receiving. I just want my name cleared. The shipping situation is not a problem anywhere. If he was really concerned about the shipment why is it coming up on here 4 weeks later? If it was ANYONE on here truly concerned, just like all the recent stolen knives posts- even if the guys keep up comms they are still on the right side of the road with the seller b/c there is chance of getting the knife back. But how can ZZ dissapear and tell me its my fault?

ZZJake, did the hawk that you sent to knifer333 have a rusted head?
There was slight surface rust on the edge and the cross pin that kept the head from sliding, As I told him, it had been hanging on the wall for 7 years and had been decorated to look more authentic, also that he would have to soak the head end in water a while so the handle would swell again

All steel with rust....even stainless steel will rust.
And you cant stop steel from rusting by hanging it on a wall...
There is nothing about being against a wall that stops steel from rusting.
In my own case, if you went out to my shop of some hot summer days you would see that everything in my shop is dripping with water from right out of the air.
I have even read how in history a Japanese sword would not get it's final finish until it was winter, when the air was the most dry.
Probably the first knife deal I ever had on the internet was with Jake. I've purchased several knives since then and have never been disappointed.
And I agree... humidity can form rust on a carbon steel knife or axe over time hanging on a wall, stored in a drawer or in a display case. Hope you guys can solve your problems. I wouldn't have a problem selling, buying or trading with either of you. Just seems like a big misunderstanding to me.
