Anyone planning to argue with a Calgary cop on the beat that the feds in Ottawa have granted you special human rights please for the love of god film the interaction (or more likely ask a bystander to film it).

I'm having a hard time envisioning how that could happen. Can you explain?

I can. One time I dropped it on the floor, and it popped open. The other time I was pulling it out of my waistband and must have accidentally pulled on the lock tab, and it opened partially, enough to get my attention. Admittedly probably more my fault than the knife's, but still this is the only knife I have that's done that to me, no matter what the circumstance. I didn't want to give it a third try at biting me.
