Axis Stryker

Mine is on the way, should be here tomorrow. Like the pics. Love the 940, carry it all the time, think this one will fit in real nice for EDC.
 
I wonder if the 909 blade will fit the on the 915...

Edit: The 909 has a blade thickness of 0.124 while the 915 is 0,130 inches, so I don't think so.

Oh yeah. They're thicker than the 810; seem to match the 710. The beefiness of this knife is great. I cannot get over how satisfying the whole package is.

I want to see some more pictures of this knife! :thumbup:
 
Sorry, PTP, I don't have a Triage. I was looking for more pics of this knife in the Benchmade Company forum and thought maybe someone there would bust out a comparison. Are you going to put another blade in this handle?

Personally, I'd like to see more comparisons with the older Stryker.

I don't have any pictures (I lost one of my original Strykers and foolishly sold the other) but can share that the only thing similar between the new 909 and the original 910 is the blade. The handle is very different. It's much more hand filling, and has a wierd lump where you'd rest your thumb where the handle meets the back of the blade.

I've been playing with the 909 all day and I really really like it. I had forgotten about Benchmade's incredible attention to detail. I like it so much that I can get over the Axis lock.
 
Second one arrived and I am loving it. Really couldn't be happier with this thing. It will be on chores and then bbq duty in the park.

I'm a big time fan of the original 910 Stryker. Carried one for years and can tell you that's one tough knife!

When able I'd like to give the new AXIS model a try. From the pic's posted so far I'm liking what I'm seeing.
 
Not the Axis model, but I thought i'd show a 910 in ATS-34. May pick up the Axis model eventually.
