I'll offer these Leatherman up for whoever can use them, but please claim them only if you will use them. I'll leave that judgement up to you.

I'll ship separately, or together if you can give me a good reason you need two or can pass the other on to someone who can.

Leatherman Micra, and Leatherman Squirt S4. Both scissors.

Cool gifts, what were your thoughts on them/leatherman multi tools in general, been looking at them for a while and the wingman and the sidekick caught my eye for the price

I read in the other thread somebody named Nikki needing a fixed blade. What's that person's user name?

Put me on your buddy list and take my email or cell # and when you get done with basic and AIT or what ever else you may want to do hit me up there's a little community of us who look out for the new guys, and if you need anything all you haft to do is ask...

Thank you very much, Allen, for the kind request! I can think of no other job in the world more honorable than serving our country; a lot of people take what you and others like you do/did for granted...but not me.

As a side note, I would like to mention that your avatar is amazing. After I read Navy SEAL Chris Kyle's biography earlier this year and his use of The Punisher skull as a trademark, I was actually inspired to move ahead with my plans for joining the Army. Ever since his death, I've kept a Punisher decal on my car to remind me of the sacrifice of our service men and women.

I actually used to be heavily involved in the LEGO community, and I recently broke out my bricks to pay homage to Chris Kyle with a little tribute (the Spyderco Lil Matriarch is in there for size comparison):

(Apologies for derailing the thread a little)

I'm going to see if I can post more stuff towards the weekend and try to repay the generosity shown here. Thank you all once again and have a good night!

I don't know if it's ok to ask, and I don't want to be rude.
So please let me know if it's not ok.
I was wondering if anyone has an Endura, or a Ka-Bar TDI they aren't using anymore.
I could really use either of these.
Again if it's not cool please let me know. I have the highest respect for you guys, and the generosity that has been going around.

I have a TDI with ankle sheath BUT I got locked out of my shed and it was only thing I had lying around and I popped the lock with it , so the blade might be warped , I'm not gonna send out junk but if Its good and u can help with shipping then well go from there, I'd pay myself but I'm not working as much, matter of fact sitting in hospital with wife right now making sure my little girls OK.

Hope all goes well.

I can't help with the Endura, but I do have a folding TDI, plain edge, if you're interested.

What's up with your girl, if you don't mind sharing? I've got a pumpkin myself. When she was 7, she had something similar to a heart cath done. Prayers for you and yours.

A BIG thanks to Whetstone39 and RemyKaze!

I got a nice Cryo 2 from Whetstone and a kool Kukri from RemyKaze. Both really cool blades. I had some time today to play around with both of them today.

As much as I like the Cryo 2 (built like a tank), it's too big for my tastes and I think a smaller Cryo would better suit my needs. So I'd like to regift the Cryo 2 to JNieporte if he wants it. He came in with a huge offering with some awesome knives and a Cryo 2 is on his wish list. Something like that has to be recognized, and he's a fellow vet.

You guys got me thinking about Beckers now. I think I'm gonna have to save some pennies for a 16 to try one out some time.

Every single one I have handled were tight and high quality. Personally, I fouled the cutters on a PST II early on shortly after I bought it. I ended up with a SOG Powerlock after that and never looked back.

Much thanks for that RM81, offering it back to the thread. Not regifting, more like paying it forward, forward. It is a beast of a knife

Leatherman is the s**t. Seriously. I used mine prob 20 times a day at my previous job. Did everything I asked of it without balking, except one time that I pried with the file instead of the large flathead. I've beat mine all to crap and it still looks fairly new after being burned, exposed to chemicals and mush-like paper stock, cutting through zip ties, metal restraints, rubber, thick plastic, woven textiles etc.

Mine was a Wave. Paid $40 for it and the nylon sheath. They also have an awesome warranty. When they break in, they flip open like balisongs. Definitely get a full size for EDC.

If you're sure about the Cryo 2, I'll take it. You need a BK16 I see?

Very welcome, dude. Glad you liked it.

I do like it and I thank you for the gift. Just too heavy for me to pocket carry. I think I'll try to find a smaller Cryo at some point. Maybe put it on my Christmas list along with a Becker 16.
