She's not here yet but, wife has unbalanced chromosomes, which caused our first child to live for 7 hours then she passed away, she miscarried 3 more times afterwards , all had her whatever the medical term is I can say it but can't spell it. Anyways this little ones chromosomes are balanced and shes healthy, but after burying one and with her condition the slightest thing gets us a trip to the hospital.
Allen, I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts man. Stay strong.

I like it. I took it out and cleaned up my tree line in the back yard. And it'll take out a zombie or two in a pinch.

That thing actually outchopped almost everything I had. I just never got the technique of sharpening recurves down. That notch in the batch was for striking firesteel, but it may have to be squared off again.

So once again I recieved a paid forward knife that was just a little too small for my gaucian mitts. This mean I am offering up a kershaw cryo (originally from worldwood) to be paid forward (maybe sideways would be more fitting?) to the first "I'll take it" accompanied by a picture of the doritos bag from the eighties, my preference is for nacho cheese but either will suffice...

Let me go back a couple pages but I rember someone asking for a cryo.

I was wondering if any of you have any experience with the bm mini grip or becker bk16. I am thinking of saving my money and getting these but i wanted to hear some opinions first. Thanks, Jake

I love my 556 mini grip, It's my gentleman's knife. But my delica gets far more pocket time, As it's thinner, and I carry my wallet in my r/f pocket.
154cm is amazing, holds a great edge for a long time in regular edc stuff. The AXIS lock ROCKS, so much fun to play with, and UBBER smooth.
I did break one of the omega springs within 6 weeks of getting it, probably from the constant opening and closing it for those 6 weeks.
But Benchmade took care of it for me under warranty. My experience was very positive with it and Benchmade as a whole. However I'm still a Spyderco fan boy.
If you want to try the AXIS lock out first, pick up a Sanrenmu 763. About 17 bucks on the big auction site.
I own 2 of them. Great Knives.

My kids, wife, and mom got me one for my Bday this year. I love it as an EDC. The only negative thing I could say about it are the scales. They feel cheap. Whenever I'm feeling up to it, I'll try to make a set out of G10 or something, but there is some milling involved.

Ok, I'll take it.

Leatherman's BOTH ARE GONE, THX, but I'm callin' it a day here in about 15 min. After that, you can post here, but an e-mail would be appreciated also to keep track. Thanks

I'll offer these Leatherman up for whoever can use them, but please claim them only if you will use them (but that won't be hard, they are awful handy). I'll leave that judgement up to you.

I'll ship separately, or together if you can give me a good reason you need two or can pass the other on to someone who can.

Leatherman Micra, and Leatherman Squirt S4. Both scissors.

Yeah, I took a file to it and got it a little sharper, but it is a bit different than a normal blade. I figured that's what the notch was for on the spine.

Will it do as good as a machete? Because I need a machete and was thinking about getting a kukri instead. It just looks so different I'm not sure about it.

Thanks RM81 and JustinC25. My biggest concern is the handle.
If your use to G10, you may not like the handle. I reminds me of GM dash plastic. Actually that's pretty much what it is.
The scales are made of Valox, which is used in some automotive applications.
The full size Griptilian has Noryl GTX scales that have a more premium feel. However if your use to FRN scales, you won't mind the scales.
If the scales bother you, then there is always the 707 Sequel with aluminum scales. But it's way more money.
My issue is that it's handle is a little too thick in a front jeans pocket with my wallet, and my lighter.
Otherwise, the handle ergos are excellent. Very comfortable, however I have smaller hands, and if you have larger hands, you may not like the feel.
Hope this helps.
Justin
