Not as generous as some, but I'm still looking through boxes-

Up for grabs is a small (3" folded, 5.5" open) lockback marked "Barlow" on one side of the blade and "British Hong Kong" on the other, with "Mammoth" laser cut into one of the wood scales. Remarkably well made for what's basically an advertising knife. Reminds me a lot of the old Gerber Silver Knight series.

No rules/ quals if you want it.

Yeah, JNieporte been extremely generous with his time and gifts. I'm in no way demanding a instant response, just not sure how one would contact him as he has no email listed and I think he has vm's disabled on his profile. What ever is best suited to him is what's best suited to me, I'm in no rush.

Edit: sorry If I came off as demanding, not my intention.
 
All seems well, carry on. This thread has the strangest pattern of chaotic busy, followed by periods of extreme inactivity. Trying not to draw the correlation between that and combat, but it is kind of there for all to see.

No issue, you didnt come across that way, I was just trying to post something that might help with the wait. LOL He did post his email a few times many pages back, if you want to look for it. :)

If you cant find it, let me know as I have it jotted down here somewhere as I sent him one and awaiting a reply! :)
 
Okay here's my first contribution of a few! A crkt side hawg 3. Kind of a cool little EDC fixed blade.



I just ask you keep this thread alive and have a use for this or know someone who does! By claiming this you acknowledge that you are over 18 and it is legal for you to own in your state.

That would really help, I've read every post on this thread but it seems I've missed it, would you mind dropping it in my visitor messages?

Very cool little blade ranger, mind explaining the functionality of the sheath?

I'm not claiming this, just interested in the design. How does this sheath work? Is there a scale on both sides of the tang? Is it chisel ground?
 
So who on here are "stropping" pros?

I want to get a double sided strop with two different pastes but I have no idea of what is needed as far as the pastes go. I know the Stropman sells a green one and others have black, white or yellow. What is recommended to use if I use a sharpmaker or stone and stop at a fine grit stone or an ultra fine stone?

Also, without buying all the stuff to make one, if anyone already has the stuff to make it with the pastes, etc. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for one to be made for me! :)

EDIT: I heard that some colors of paste are not recommended to use depending on how or what you sharpen with! Don't know if it is true, just seen it somewhere online!

It is 5 inches overall with a 2 inch blade (only sharpened on one side). Whora it's yours as long as your over 18 and it's legal in your state, forgot to mention that just in case haha

The sheath has the metal piece that locks onto the blade when it's closed. Retention is pretty good actually!
