Wow, that's a big jump. I thought it was bad at 210# heavyweight.
Take them into the second period was an almost guaranteed win...it was getting to the 2nd period that was tough! Most of the guys in high school are just fat- there are a few muscle headed linemen that gave me trouble, but I'd just wear them out and pin them. Nearside cradle works great on a big guy when he can't breathe!!!![]()
College you had more of a serious athlete than guy going out for the wrestling team.Sounds about like my strategy in my first two years. After that I was 195# and it was more of a real match at that point, but I still used the cradle a lot. It was a whole different story once I tried college though, they were just like a different kind of human at that high a weight.
Jujutsu strikes. In more simple terms, its just how you say strike. Karate is arm example of an art based of a more broad set of atemi. What's atemi? Sorry, just woke up and would rather get a real person explanation than google.
Looks... unpleasant. I am one these big guys of which you speak and I don't like a lot of pressure for very long lol.Nearside cradle works great on a big guy when he can't breathe!!!![]()
I'll take it if its not already been claimed
PS, before this thread closes... Opinel:
1. It cut me badly last night :/
2. They work well on scraping firesteels right out of the box.
Just sayin...
Just an update I am going to start the new thread as soon we learn what the mystery knife is.
(Sorry the opinel bit you stvpourciau)
No stitches, no insurance. I removed a large chunk of my pinky a few months back and there were no stitches then either lol. It reattached fine and is still in the final stages of healing up. Think it will be fit awhile.
The Opinel, its a bad cut but a clean cut. Deep and angular, So it'll heal up nicely. A little contact cement and some tape will heal it up fine.
I am very serious in saying that this cut hurts worse than removing all of that pinky meat I just got over.
All I was doing was trying to eat a banana lol. I was holding my knife open when I dropped my banana. I freaked out and tried to catch it. I did, I caught the banana and a little bit of Opinellol. Right in the index finger.

In Japanese jujutsu, they are more reserved. Atemi seen are either devastating to your opponents good health or just something used to gain a quick off-balance. Spearhanding the fingers and stabbing up and under the nose sharply or into the eyes from a clinch is a great example of unpleasantness that grants a quick release/reaction from your opponent.

You might have to send me that opinel, for your own safety. Just sayin...
