The grin ( :D ) should have given me a clue. I was surprised to receive your payment in a package. Thank you for the Opinel, I love it!!! It's my first Opinel and I'm surprised at how sturdy it feels.

right on...:thumbup: glad you liked it....:D they're awesome knives and they hold a wicked edge.... i have a few other sizes too...

a friend i shoot archery with, always has a bunch of them for sale.... i pick up a few every now and again....:)

Patches Order Update:

I got the patches art from Standri and THEY LOOK NICE. Now is when the decision of what the patches should read ("Wilderness Survival" or "Wilderness & Survival") comes to play.

My personal opinion is that the original idea was to have a forum patch which means "Wilderness & Survival." That been said, Modified Design #2 (which I voted for) went through 2 polls reading "Wilderness Survival," as did 3-Color #2. Only 3-Color #1 reads “Wilderness & Survival” and that went through the poll too.

Right now more people have expressed support for “Wilderness & Survival” though most are also willing to compromise. Keep in mind that only 10 out of 64 have expressed their opinion on this issue. Even though my personal choice is “Wilderness & Survival,” I’m inclined to compromise by leaving the patches the way they are. That way the winning patch is a “Forum” patch, and the other patches read “Wilderness Survival” as when people voted for them. I’m approving art this Thursday. Please let me know what you think before then.

Since I didn't actually order any of the affected patches, I probably shouldn't have a voice here, but my opinion is that because this is the Wilderness & Survival Skills forum, I think that it should be Wilderness & Survival.
 
Now, another issue related to the Patch art from Standri. We have 2 versions of Guy on Split. The First one is the one that went through the polls (just art with no words in it), but some of you requested that Darklight prepare a version of GOS with “BLADEFORUMS.COM” on the upper part of the patch and “WILDERNESS & SURVIVAL SKILLS” bellow. Standri has both versions. I will approve the one that went through the polls unless most of the people who are buying GOS say different. I need to know by Thursday at the latest.

I like the Guy on a Spit patch that went through the polls, with no words on it. I see that patch as more of a novelty patch, so I don't really want it to say anything about survival or Blade Forums.

As far as the other patches and whether they say Wilderness Survival or Wilderness & Survival, I couldn't care less. Either is fine by me.
 
Im all for no words ...

but if the others want the words , thats cool too ..

I have no preference between Wilderness & Survival vs Wilderness Survival. Either will work for me.
 
I'm quite happy either way as far as GOS or any of the other patches go. You've got enough work without people getting all finicky on you. It is great that you're doing all this, I really appreciate it.
