B110-SP94-0 What's So "Special"?

3 would be great!!!! but I have just had one made before.
It was perfect from day 1!!!!!
I dont know if there is really a minimum? Maybe Joe will enlighten us someday???? :D

Yeah, we'll have to see what the Buck DM looks like engraved.

I have one DM right now. It's a folder from Weidmannsheil. The tang stamp is very solid and clear but since it's dark, not much contrast. Will certainly post a pic when I get it.

And no, that is not Mrs Goose in the avatar. That is my parole officer. Mrs Goose can be seen in a pic washing my scoot to earn her keep in my link below (I am so dead if she ever reads these posts LOL).

You are correct Jim...if I did order a mess of 'em, I'd end up giving my BuckaBros here a break and prob break even. But what a concept...my only concern is how long does it take for Buck to turn an order of 50 or more anything?

Thinking of that, how long does it actually take to make a Buck 110 Custom (not considering order backlog)...actual production time for one knife...anyone know?

i had seen that guys listings and got so so close on biding ...
he has done severa diffrent offerings.
i like shiney blades but i like stuff on them...
see for so long the 110 was jest a tool that i liked a lot.
have had one at all times sence 15
now i collect them for functional art as a pirty to play with and hold and show off... tell i retired a few years ago i collected users only or a almost new to use and i inlayed ivory in quite a number of thewood scales and schirmshawed them... basily i jest did it for friends for a buck or two as pratice..
the DM looks KOOL engraved with a name or number
the yellow horse clan does it and it looks great.
ONE thing about DM - WAX it or it will RUST as a user it will got past searry sharp and cut like no ones busness!
but again rust is a threat to the steel in them...
shame you make her wax the bike...
i have wanted to have a shiney blade cromed plated!!! any one ever seen one in a buck? would that not be supper Kool?

Hey Dave, you think the rusting will be a big issue if the one I'm getting is "stainless"? That's what a little bird told me...the current DM for the 110 knives is "stainless teardrop pattern".

...I sure ain't no expert on Damascas steel...I've never even held one...LOL...but I wasn't aware that damascas was or could be made up of stainless...I'd think the "work hardening" would be tremendous from all that folding...:confused: :confused:

So far as the "stainless" Darryl...I was surprised to hear that from Buck as well. Thinking they must use the butt end of a Strider 890 to pound it.
Will certainly post when I get it in a few weeks.

My kid was bummed about her parking permit and book reimbursement for this semester being "delayed"...but I figured this was my chance after waiting for almost a year for the 110DM to come in.
Told her last night that Hot Dog on a Stick was hiring and she would look cool in one of those goofy hats making lemonade at the mall :p
