B110-SP94-0 What's So "Special"?

Buckaholic:

What was the upgrade price for the stainless Damascus? Does Buck have this listed and updated on their website for PCKS knives in the build your own 110 section?

70 Clams for the upgrade to DM (think the price that is shaded out on the selection page showed it at $41)
Not on the site as they have a limited supply. Only about 30 left when I heard last week. Thinking maybe it's just something left over from another project??? Dunno. Sometimes like Area-51...who knows what is really going on in those Idaho hills

I was a constant pest for literally months and while they are the best, I think they just wanted me to get out of their hair :) The "squeaky wheel" syndrome.
So, long way to say ya gotta call it in.

Also, due to popular demand, posting my current avatar in the link below. Thanks to Larry for the pic actually.

The normal minimum order is 100 knives but I have seen customers order two different knives, 50 of each kind. I think this dealer may have done just that. The rosewood knife was supposed to be the first rosewood knife Buck made but the 110CHR (5114) (brass & ZRn Buckcoat) beat him to it by a few years. The black handled knife is Micarta without the usual linen or canvas binder.

...Hmmmmm...At say $100 per knife, that would be...ah...hum...carry the three...about $10,000 for a minimum order... :o :(

I guess I'll have to give up that idea...

...Oh well...and to think I was gonna ask if we could go together on your idea of ordering that "minimum" quantity"...until I saw that $dollar$ amount...phewww...Goin' out for a lottery ticket...BRB...LOL...

Goose,
I have two and their both 20 of 50. One with cherry wood and the other with what looks to me like smooth buffalo. Here are the pics. The numbers are on the other side.

...I do seem to recall that there was a knife made up for certain "BladeForum" members. It was a custom made by one of the "makers" here in BF. If my memory is struggling it's due to age...LOL...I'm thinking it was a slip joint and that very few were actually ordered. I might have seen it in the General area of Bladeforums...Maybe one of the "makers" who frequent the Buck Forum might know more... HEY SCOTT! ! !
Here's a mention of the knife I was trying to remember. Haven't looked further as I'm not into slip joints.
