Back by Popular Demand... What folder do you guys carry?

Had one. Its as big as a spyderco millie. Carries smaller than it actually is, opens quickly with the flipper and looks like a race car. I have discovered that I am not really a flipper fan. The flipper wasnt very comfortable to me. Kind of pointy. If it had the ZT0900 flipper i probably would have kept it. I also didnt like the clip. It looks like an after thought. Like they said "F it! This one will work". The 0452 is a knife I really wanted to like but just cant. It looks slick. Is thin, light for its length, comfortable, but I cant get over those other issues

Thanks for the thoughts Riz, I appreciate that. I think what intrigues me most about it is the grind, but it's a bit spendy for me to buy on a whim.

I had a 0452, it's the only ZT I regret selling. The clip was lame, that's a fact. I loved everything else about it though, and the upgrade to M390 makes me wish they would sell out of them already so I'd quit drooling. I have a GSO 8 to preorder....

I liked the grind alot. After reading my post, it wasnt as clear as I thought. The biggest reason I sold it was because the flipper was really uncomfortable to me. It opened with authority but was too pointy. I like a blade I can quietly or slowly deploy with one hand.

I rotate around primarily ZT's, most of the time those being either the 0562, the 0620, and 0620CF. I just got the 0620CF a few days ago, with the CTS204P steel. I know that steel is supposed to be the same as M390, but it certainly doesn't impress me like the M390 yet. I'm wanting to get a second 0562, in the CF garb. But it's only offered in CTS now, that I can find. So I'm debating getting it. Really love the M390, and ELMAX is right up there, too, IME. CTS204P? Not sure.

Benchmade then

Everyday folder carry for me either at work or in the field is a CRK Sebenza 25 or large insingo. Both are great to supplement my 5.1 as well.

I've been carrying this S110v for a couple weeks and I'm pretty impressed with the steel. The burple scales had to go.

Lol. The digicams are always a good fallback. Please let us know how you like that steel after you get some use on it bud.

I am waiting on the Knifeworks exclusive S90V/Titanium RIL/carbon fiber Millie. Recently I have tried carrying some of my other folders, but that Franken Millie I made (black on Ti) keeps ending up back in my pocket. Also KW has a 204p steel/dark green g10 millie that I keep eyballing. I sure wish Guy and Ellie could get their folder project moving.

I got the 204p military on (a ridiculous) sale and I love it! My first Millie.

Haha the burple was a little to purple for me!
So far I've only sliced cardboard, paper and tri-tip with it. I'll have to grab a stick and bust out a trystick with it soon.

I like to rotate my carry between these 4
Dervish Navajo and my Striders

Yep. That top Strider with the slightly rounded handles. I definitely like that! Very nice collection, Cole. Relatively recent additions, correct?

Where I live, Maryland, practically any knife, except "stilettos" whatever they mean by that, are legal, as long as not concealed. How this applies to pocket knives, I don't know.
I spend a lot of time in D. C., and NY. Where almost no knife is legal, most particularly any that open with one hand, and/or lock. Even Boy Scouts have been detained for having locking and concealed weapons.
This being the case, I have looked for the most practical, non-threatening, knife I can think of for EDC.
I also look for cost effective blades. Dollar for dollar, I believe SAKs, especially the Alox series, fit the bill.
Or, if you want to look scary, any of the Lansky line.
