Back from a long absence

Hey Flix nice to here from you, I think I will leave the pig sticking to my arrows. My Rachel Ray can just help get the backstraps ready for the pan.

You saw my son's hog now look at the little feller I shot.

There were two hogs together when I shot this one and Joe, my son, was trying to get me to shoot the bigger but I figured this one would be better for the pit, and I was right. Better eating you've never had.

I don't know about my little orange handled knife but stick em in the right spot with a magnus stinger and it will do the job.

Well welcome back from a new guy:o, seams like alot of class act people like you so you it is good to have you here:thumbup:

If your son has any questions about what to expect in the A.F. drop me a line. It has been about 10 years, but hey......

Tell him not to forget his reporting statement, and learn how to fold clothes.

That folding clothes crap was the hardest part.

Chris,

Good to see you back! Nice pigs. I'm sure someone will pop up here soon enough to start driving people crazy again.

How you doing Pict, nice to here from you. And this is the kinder, gentler Chris no driving anyone crazy, or getting driven crazy for that matter. :p Chris

Hey runningboar welcome back! I live in Raleigh, N.C. and have the same interests as you. I'm VERY familiar with Fayettenam since I was a young Paratrooper back in the 80's stationed at Bragg. Killed 3 with the Longbow this past season, now I'm just waiting for the canoe and the flyrod. PM me if you want to meet. Al

I am pretty handy with both a fly rod and a canoe myself, I have been sick for a little while and have cabin fever terrible. We ought to get together and hunt some squirrels, I have been thinking about a trip to Uharrie before the season ends. Chris

...so... rehab went well?:D

Unfortunately I'm stuck in the US until at least August, hopefully not any longer than that.

Come on now the US isn't that bad, is it, I guess it all depends on where your stuck.

Rehab went very well, although they did tell me it was impossible to rehabilitate someone that has never been habilitated in the first place. ;) Chris

EDIT: I am leaving in August as well, Camp Casey Korea here I come, Kimchi and juicy girls I can't wait. ;)

Well, it is about time you got your butt back in the game! Here is a big 'ole welcome back from Arkansas!! And a shot of my latest pork based venture:

Wow that is a change, last time I was around it was all about prying rocks apart, to hell with how it cuts.

My latest knife purchase was at Bed Bath and Beyond, IIRC it cost about 5 bucks and is endorsed by Rachel Ray. It is thin mystery stainless with a bright orange rubber handle and a bright orange plastic sheath. It is really comfortable in the hand, takes a wicked edge, and cuts like a laser....go figure. :D Chris

EDIT: I have no idea how it batons and probably never will. :) :)

Hey RB, great to see you again.

Howdy. I've spent some time in Fayett-nam... you have my condolences :p

Seriously, another welcome back from a new guy.

Thanks guys, glad to see all of you guys are still around and going strong. I'm still kickin and have been going strong. My son recently joined the Air Force and leaves for basic the end of March, I really don't know how I am going to get by without him, here is a pic of him from a recent hunt.

Welcome back Chris!

I know how you feel. My son leaves for the Navy in July. Luckily we can get in one more Turkey hunt before he leaves.

Give your son a  for me. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll put him at Seymour Johnson in Goldsboro ;).
