Back from Peru

P,

Appreciate the "welcome home" and I avoided your port! ;)

As far as the rest of this goes, Tom is a good man and runs a good shop. There are no hard feelings from us towards him, and I really think that is mutual on his part. Sometimes forums have a way of sucking us all in.

Onward guys!

Glad you made it back. Placed another order. Everybody seems to want a RAT. Maybe I should open a RAT store in South florida? I don't think any shops around here sell them.

Jeff, after seeing how you post on the forums and after seeing that picture of the RC-3 in the other post; I am extremely happy to have just ordered the Izula, fire kit, & RC-5. Can't wait to receive the knives and see some pics of the Peru trip. Later, Joe

shramj,

Thanks. Business has been really good for us thanks to the RAT Cutlery family like everyone here on BladeForums. I will admit that we sometimes can't predict the market and it causes delays. We will get there though.

Jeff, I hope you spent more time having fun than on your dreaded blackberry keeping tabs.(I hated mine too) Just got my RC-4 orange, firekit and RtacII yesterday, need to go play!!
Pic's when your all caught up I hope!
regards
Brad

By the way, if any of Tom's customers are interested his RC5's will be at his shop tomorrow, March 11. (According to UPS).

Thanks for the update Mike.

I will go down town and meet up with the UPS driver first thing in the morning. All of the knives that I get in tomorrow will go out tomorrow.

We took the RC-5's down temporarily until we get all of our existing customers orders filled. We didn't want to continue to take pre orders and risk someone not getting their knife out of this run, you may be able to find another dealer that has them in stock. We currently have 5 separate orders for the RC-5 knives. I was told that the first 4 orders will come out of this run, I'm not certain if the fifth order will make the cut on the first run. At this point all of our customers that pre ordered the RC-5 will get there knives from this run. I appreciate your business and we'll help you in every way possible.

Jake,

I should be getting a few in a couple of days. If everything goes well I will be able to get the back ordered Izulas filled. I will be getting them from a wholesaler just to clean up those orders. I will pick-up a few extra if you need one give us a call or watch for us to turn the Izulas back on (on our website). We have a bunch coming from RAT Cutlery, when they get here we'll be back up and running on all cylinders. Thanks for thinking about us.
