Hi Ron,
I apologize for the late reply but received the Back Pocket Sheath this Friday the 22nd. I like it a lot but have a suggestion.
I think that maybe these might be better suited for back pocket carry if made from stiffer leather. They wouldn't have to be thick leather but stiff leather.
If stiffer leather was utilized, the sheath could be slid into the back pocket easier.
Now don't get me wrong, Ron uses quality leather for these and they are nice. This is just a suggestion.
By the way, I'm using this large Back Pocket Sheath for an all stainless Spyderco Police that I removed the clip from and it fits the sheath almost perfectly. It is comfortable to carry in the back pocket with Ron's sheath.
To keep the knife from shifting around in the sheath when in the back pocket, I added a stainless snap to it. Here's a picture:
This is entirely my preference and you may like Ron's sheath just the way it is. I hope you don't mind me mangling your sheath Ron!
Ron is a great guy and his work is very good! I'm glad I got this BPS and thanks Ron and thank you for the "surprise". You're a good man and make good products!
