Finally came back to a mini Ritter grip after much regret over selling my last M4 mini. I searched high and low for another one and decided to pick up a new m390 mini and found one on here that was new at a nice discount.

At the same time....a good buddy nudged me in the direction of some G10 Wilkins grips. Now I had always wanted to try them out but never had a grip long enough to think about purchasing them, or I never had the money. Well no better time than right now. So I bought the Wilkins off the exchange and they arrived the day after the mini did. Perfect timing!!

Now I don't mind the mini grip scales and even with XL/XXL hands, It still feels pretty good. BUT I must say........these Wilkins truly transform the feel of this knife. It turned a 130$ knife in to feeling like a 4-500$ one!!

If you are on the fence about buying some.....don't hesitate!!! You will love them. I know I do.

I also managed to get a new deep carry clip from bench made that also came today!! Great CS from them as well.

Anyhow.....enough talk. Here you go

And of course a before pic

i have regulat and mini in M4 and they are among my favorites but the M390 aint too shaaby either. With Wilkins Grips it doesn't get much better

Absolutely as perfect as a Grip can get!
Nothing better than Wilkins in Orange....

Enjoy it bro.

I have recently got the Wilkins bug as well. I have 1 large and 1 small and another small with aluminum handles on the way. I too have XXL sized hands and I have no problem with the Mini Wilkins. Great handle ergos for a smaller knife!

Awesome! I have a large Ritter M390 with Camp Perry scales on its way to me.

It really is crazy how well this knife fits in a larger hand. I'm loving it.

Nice! Be sure to post up some pics here after it arrives.

How does the backspacer feel in hand? I've heard really mixed reviews.

It feels great. I have not done any significant cutting with it yet. But I will be sure to report my findings over time.

I did not like my mini ritter until I got the wilkins grips. It really does transform the knife.

I liked it with the stock scales, but you are exactly right... The Wilkins transform it into a whole new knife

I'm beginning to think if there's one knife easily recognized as a Benchmade, it's the Grip series. Interesting how many posts there are about this one knife in all of it's variants. And yes, replacement scales can really change how the knife feels and looks. Always hating the plastic scales but loving the design, this one is a keeper:

This for the win! I have after market scales by Cuscadi, Death of all Things and Wilkins but those Gold Grip scales and a Ritter blade walk away with the prize.

Those are very nice looking. Although, I do not hate the stock scales, but everything else is a major improvement in terms of feel in the hand. Definitely transforms the knife

Can anybody give a comparison from their personal pov about the Wilkins and the awt scales?

I would like to hear this also. I was very curious about the AWT scales myself, but came across a great deal on the wilkins and decided to go with those.

custom scales make all the difference for me. The knives really feel like customs with the upgraded scales. I had A.W.T. scales but went back to the wilks, the middle set in the pic where made by d.o.a.t. they are as nice as the wilks in my opinion.
