Always on backorder! I have been trying for months to purchase an new CQC 15, CQC 10, or an CQC 8 all BFS, and each time I place an order it seems that they are on backorder for at leat 5 weeks. So far I have had a standing order for the past 13 wks and no knife as of yet. There production schedule and website maintence SUCKS. No dist. have them in stock either; go figure.

this has really started to tick me off, as I am beginning to look at other manufactures.
 
I've tried them too, I get an e-mail afet placing an order syaing that they are on backorder and I will be contacted when they become avaliable.

I'll try them again in the morning.
 
I haven't a problem with either of the 2 ebay listers. Just lucky me thinks. I also used to get frustrated when ordering from the EKI site. Only did that a couple of times and learned my lesson. Many other Inet stores to order from. I am on a down slide of Emerson's anyways. Selling off all of mine. A few reasons behind this but mostly just going in another direction. keepem sharp

When I was looking for my 15, I called to a couple of different places (including onestopknifeshop - as I try and give them as much of my business as I can) - they were all out of stock.

However, I wanted my 15 and I wanted it now so I called Emerson, paid list price and got my knife in 4 days.

Depends on what's important to you.

no it wasnt. this thread isn't about emerson knives.

it is about your problems with retailers, therefore it belongs in the gbu.
