Backpack??

Nice looking pack Delkancott. I just got my new ALICE pack in a few days ago. I also have a small sling pack ordered, but it's on back order. Not supposed to ship for another month.

I can't PM, just a registered user.
No worries, though. Unless it is pretty much 66% off somewhere, can't afford it this month anyway. Plus, in looking around on the web to try to find that answer on the straps, I ran across the new BFM (I think it is new). THAT's a nice pack, too! Neither of which I really need. I'm pretty well set right now, even though I am intrigued by the Tri-Zip design.

Just ordered a Kelty Redwing 3100. I cant wait for it to arrive. :D

Congrats. You should like it a lot. Good size. Not too heavy. And VERY reasonable. $55 shipped ... Just can't beat that.

Only thing I've found is it could use a some more exterior straps/webbing/tie downs. It has some across the bottom for a tent or sleeping bag, but I'm adding some more on the top and sides. Not a PALS grid or anything, just a few more. It's an easy fix.

Couple pics of it in action from the April contest

Okay, my LA Police Gear 3 Day Pack came in today. It would have arrived sooner, but I'd been waiting on the regular & jumbo Bail Out Bags to restock (in Coyote). Finally gave up and cancelled those, so I could get the pack, sooner.

Straight and to the point, this pack is fantastic for the price. Honestly, I think it'd be great for a bit more.

I was not expecting the material to be so thick & strong. The Coyote color is really nice. Straps galore. Can hold a bladder. Has a removable waist belt. The fasteners look more solid than on packs where I've paid over $100.

It is a steal. Will be getting a few more, for sure.

If this quality for the price is any indication of how the rest of their line is, it's no wonder the Bail Out Bags are out of stock (in Coyote, again, a very nice rich color).

I'll say it again, the pack's fantastic. Highly recommend.

Sorry, forgot to take a pic of the bottom. It has three straps across the bottom for sleeping bag, etc.. .

Can't wait to try it out.:thumbup::thumbup:

Risen, now that you've had this a couple of months, any new opinions? I'm trying to work down a short-list of a do-it-all pack to take to Australia, something that will comply with carry-on regulations but still be pretty versatile.

Good looking packs, I carry everyday a Kelty MAP 3500. I take it to and from work and in the sticks. It's my constant companion, I think my gf gets jealous sometimes. I'll post pix of it later. Good job with getting the Kelly, I think you'll be very happy with it.
