Plugged my camera in and realize that half the "pics" I took weren't on there. The wheel must have gotten flipped to video  So my pics of our camp and the lakes we visited are missing. Oh well, still have some cool shots, it's a learning experience for next time.

There are about three stream crossings, I slipped into the second one and completely soaked my shoes.

Wow! That is some stunning landscape!

Looking at your "vertigo" pic...I almost get the feeling that if I were there, I'd feel like a little bug on a big rock!

Thanks for sharing! -Matt-

looks like a nice trip.

bummer about the camera misbehaving...i have done that before and its the reason i don't like the cameras that have a little wheel like that...too easy to slip up.

but i have got into the habit of checking each time i take the camera out, so its not so much of a problem now...

The only thing I like about CA is the NPs. Yosemite, Kings and Sequoia are incredible. Your pics bring back a lot of memories. Thanks

great pics T... that place is amazing..

i was wondering where you were..:D looks like you had a great time..

Those peak shots gave me verdigo. Outstanding pics T, thanks for sharing.

Where did you camp? Emerald Lake or Pear Lake? I spent a few days hanging around Emerald Lake last year, it's a nice spot.

nice, very nice, I'm preppeing for a trip to Big Pine canyon soon, I should come back with some pictures.
Question, would you mind emailing me directions to this place? And are the trails all clearly marked like that?
S/F
thanks

Awsome pics... Now if you dont mind giving some info on the trail head and how far you walked and how many days... I have never been to that area. I would like to check that area out next time i go backpacking...
