Thanks Bill the knives are fantastic (I need to get another long slicer and a pair of knives for 2 of my buddies - will be in contact)

Great knives and great guy to deal with all - rest assured when you deal with Bill you'll great a great edged tool \ knife from a good bloke.

Bill is a fantastic knifemaker, and a great guy to deal with. The third knife I've bought from him just arrived yesterday, and like the other two, it's an amazing piece of work. :thumbup:
 
Great guy, loved his thread & shots he posted last Oct./Nov. on the step by step on the knife he was making. I along with some others did not know how many steps were involved in turning out one. Some of the finished shots were pretty amazing.
Definitely will be buying one of his this spring, too many good comments about his work not to.

Neroun I'm in the same boat as you - I have 3 of his knives and want more.

Just - his stuff is brilliant, beautiful blades with the highest finish and as to customer service - if you ain't happy he isn't.

I echo everything said above. Ive been fortunate enough to handle many of his knives and they are beautiful. We have become good friends over the phone and he has offered a once in a lifetime chance to go spend a weekend with him learning the art of knifemaking, and I in turn will show him some bushcrafting techniques. Everyone needs to get on him about getting his own forum, like I have, so hopefully there will be more friendships started. Hell, he has enough land, what would be better than a couple days shooting the crap in the outdoors and seeing a knife made! Thanks Bill

Well in a few words, if it wasnt for guys like you all my life would be boring as hell,i love the art,i take pride in it,and strive day by day to get better at it,enjoy the knives guys!

just got my damascus nessmuck. nice knife, handle is purty as he said, all around a good custom at decent price. Oh yea the sheaths are pretty nice too holds the knife well stiching looks good nice and even, the tooling is also very uniform, shipping was quick he shipped tues. i got it thurs.
 
Geez, I don't know where to start. I've bought 4 knives from Bill now and each one has been everything I've expected, and more.

Today I received a damascus blade that was crazy. Beautiful, sharp as could be possible, and I think Bill's sheath work is second to none.

Thanks Bill for the awesome knives, the varied selection, and craftmanship I haven't seen in a long time. I am a very satisfied customer, and WILL be watching every posting that you make on the forum.

I thought my knife buying was over for a while, but then I came upon Bill's knives. I jumped at the chance to buy one and then another. I feel very fortunate to have got 2 exceptionally beautiful blades. I find myself going back to the forum frequently to see if he has any more listed for sale. I'm really glad to see such wonderful artistry alive and well in the good old USA.
Thanks Bill for making such remarkable pieces.

I've only been paying attention to Bill's knives for a couple months but I've already picked up two, and like others have said already, I check back daily to see what new creation he has :)

I carry the "pro guide" drop point nearly every day since I got it and it's held up to everything I've put it through in the woods, kitchen, and at work and looks as good as the day I received it. Tough, beautiful knives at amazing prices :D
 
I have been watching Backwoods knives for some some time as I really like their knives. I finally pulled the trigger and I was not disappointed. An amazing knife, the workmanship is excellent. Topped off with fast shipping. Good job.
 
his prices are great too. dont know how he cranks these knives out at the pace he does. each one is unique and beautiful. its almost like he has a workshop full of elves.
 
AHW, It is very long hrs in my shop everyday,i call it my hide away,i love making knives! its my passion
 
I just got a "bird and trout" and can't wait to get out this year and put it to good use. The knife has a fantastic feel and is beautiful as well. Thanks Bill.
 
I got the second knife I purchased from you and again it is an impressive piece of workmanship. Unfortunately for me, it is a gift so I can only play with it for a little while. Again, Thanks Bill
 
My first post on this forum was to buy one of Bill's knives. The knife shipped quickly and when I opened the box.....I was stunned. The knife is awesome! I don't want to put the thing down. It balances and fits my hand perfectly and the fit and finish is beyond reproach. To sum it all up I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Bill's work.
