same thing happened to me,,,was new to knife collecting and expected some help and assistance from someone i considered and expert in our chosen field,,,was belittled,,,spoken down to and asked why i hadn't bought the the knife i asked about 20yrs ago,,,i choose to let it go and formed some kind of relationship with this guy,,,or so i thought,,,he then reeled me in,,,because of my naievty,,,sold me a signed edition of the chris reeves green beret knife without the signatures,,,when i pointed this out to him he just pointed to the trademark stamps on the blade with this are you blind look on his face and away i went because i respected the guy for his superior knolwedge in knives,,,then i see the real thing on knifeart a few months later,,,ok i'm a muppet,,,he had me over,,,nice one,,,since then i have spent thousands on knives,,,this prick will never get another penny out of me,,,EVER!!!,,,i must point out i'm in the U.K. so my options over here are a little limited,,,i'm a lot wiser know and the money i spent was well worth the lesson,,,but just do your homework before parting with your hard earned cash.
