Bad communication with GregB

imho if he picked up a knife for someone and once he had it in hand the other individual was slow to contact/ducking him, and he now has a knife he doesnt want, thats not cool at all imho, esp if thom was trying to do a favor...?

Bottom line is if you ask someone to do a favor, and they do, you owe them whatever that favor cost.

To act in any other manner is indicative of a lack of character, end of story.

Thom did you a favor, and you shit in his hand, I don't care how many other people speak up for you, the way that YOU are handling this one GregB, is a red flag not to do business with you.:grumpy:

Thanks for the HU, Thom!

I posted in an open thread on the Scrapyard Forums asking if someone would be my proxy on the Dumpster Mutt. Thom had PM'd me at the Scrayard Forums and I didn't see it, as there is no pop up indicating "you have a private message" like on BF and other forums. This was an oversight on my part and for that I apologize.

Because I wasn't aware that Thom had one for me, I went hunting one and was in the middle of a trade, when I found out, via posts at BF that he had one for me. I contacted Thom and attempted to make arrangement to make payment, but he had already sold it. It was almost a week from my initial posting and my first successful attempt to contact Thom. I was not ignoring Thom, it upsets me that he thinks I would do that. He hadn't heard from me (time frame, less than 1 week) and he chose to start this thread. When Tom didn't hear from me, I just wish he'd have tried an alternative means of contacting me, instead of assuming I was just ignoring him.

To avoid situations like this in the future:

I'll be more careful about checking my PM's at the yard and try to communicate quicker.

I'm gonna try and let this go now. Thom, feel free to email or PM me.

GregB
