I'm not one to write about these sorts of things and isn't my first bad experience on the exchange, but this one just touched all my buttons and I'll add pictures. Knife was improperly listed in terms of blade steel, just copied and pasted from the designers site, but the site he bought the knife from originally has it listed entirely different. I was looking for 01 and got 1095. The knife also arrived with a bent tip, and while the seller swears it wasn't like that when he got it, which is fair enough, look at how it was packaged. I've always received things from others in at least a box and filled out well with protection. That's just respectful to your buyer especially after spending 180+. It is frustrating as I learned more about this knife in one day asking a few questions then he did as the guy buying the custom. All of the info even on the proper website he purchased it from originally. Not much to do. I wanted to buy a different knife (a GNS) and would have gotten my moneys worth but hindsight is 20/20 as they say. the blade is also scratched up, but hey that I don't care about because I plan on using this thing, but an incorrect listing and packaging that looks like it turned out to be harmful to the knife itself just sucks. I'm not saying he's a bad guy as his communication with things was good and he seemed pleasant until I brought all this up (but people do get defensive when put on the spot so not unexpected), but he just didn't have the right information and that packaging job is offensive, especially when it damages the knife and at that price range. I just hope in future he has the right info and packages things properly so that they don't get received damaged. All things considered I like the knife, it's a diving sparrow saker, I'm just frustrated by having wanted to buy a knife in 01 and not getting that (again knowing how much was spent) and then receiving a knife with damage that I have to fix especially when the knife was supposedly untouched. Maybe I'm overreacting. I don't think so. But that's my rant on the subject.
Pics below, I don't have the best camera on my phone so forgive the shitty quality but you can still see it:

This is how thin that bubble mailer is (about half a centimeter) and the knife was in its leather sheath. So there was give on that packaging at all time during shipping. No rigidity at all except for the steel of the knife itself.

Knife Tip:
