Bad experience with LA Police Gear

I ordered the ZT 0100 and 0200 from LA Police Gear and experienced two problems:

  • Both items were in stock when I placed the order on June 18, but they didn't ship until July 1, 2 weeks later. This is annoying.
  • When the knives arrived, both had scratches on the blade, the 0200 had scratches on the pocket clip, and the 0100 had a bit of dirt in the G-10 on the handles. This is unacceptable.
These items were both gifts so now I'm left scrambling to find an alternate source. I'll update this thread once customer service gets back to me.
 
Unfortunately experiences of people with LA police gear has been mixed.
 
ive ordered many times, and never had any issues. shipping has always been fast and their prices are good.

they have even let me pick up items at their warehouse.
 
As an update, I sent them pictures of the scratches on the blades, and they got back to me the same day with an apology and a USPS label to ship the knives back to them for a full refund, which is good service in my books. I'll update the thread once my return is processed.
