I say we all get together, bug an island, and create an ultimate secret Bladeforums underground superbase. We cna invite (and.or kidnap) all teh custom knifemakers and make special commando raids to get steel....

Not really a gut feeling, but I do think the world has gone to shit, and I dont see it improving anytime soon.

IMHO that is not too far off base. That is one form of controlling the masses/general public or as some call them.....SHEEP! One of the best ways to control a society is through fear. What better way to spread it, than the media outlets. :eek: I forgot to take my mind control meds today! I've said too much! Just kidding guys! I get that feeling once in a while, then I remember that I'm gonna die of something, so I just enjoy life one day at a time and try not to put too much stock in the news.
 
Oh Hi fellas, just stumbled onto this thread as I was sipping a Cognac here at the Super Secret Underground Bladeforum Superbabe Base on ////////////// {edited by base cmndr}Island. There seems to be some reservation troubles today on the PIRATES COVE for the Learjet to the island but I am sure it's just a temp thing. The gals here are great and the jacuzzi is chock full o' fun.
VG , uncle Alan, and I were talking earlier about how many weeks we should let paying members stay for free, though four weeks is my limit anyhow. I can't pay the bills from here, but of course what does uncle Al care. He is raking in plenty with his "vag rejuvination" side jobs here on our island paradise. I know many of the ladies get quite the workout, if you get my drift.
Well , gotta go . Interpol is here looking for "Ren" and asking us a lot of questions about some fecal train or some such. Apparently "Otter" dropped a dime on him. Very unForumly I thought. Well, ta ta for now.

Yeah, it does. Thanks for joining the club. :D Actually, I get a twinge every time I read another piece of news that we don't get informed of by the news medias here.

I'd like to increase water, but lack of storage room dictates that when we start to run out, we walk to the river and haul water to our place for purification.
 
It's a slippery slope from keeping a people scared to really doing something crazy...

Reminds me of another quote from an early American that stated that the country was going to hell in a handbasket and that things were going out of control.

Reading further, the quote was from the early 1900's. Interesting parallel thinking. I suppose that it's all relative.
 
I too have been getting this feeling. The more I see the news (even the less biased stuff) the more it seems we're on a downward spiral and reverse Darwinism is taking effect more and more. I agree, take it with a grain of salt and just do what you can to protect you and yours.

That BF Superbase sounds spledid...I'd like to know where to sign up for THAT!

The more the world changes, the more it stays the same.
The Goering quote, Hitler's quote about gun control and Nessmuk's lament about busy men running themselves ragged "at the speed of steam" all apply.

Don't worry.
People will live, some will die and babies will be born.
