I just received a notification from PayPal that they will be discontinuing their plug-in in September, which means it will not be possible to issue virtual debit cards linked to a PP account anymore. That sucks!

Doesn't break my heart. Because of their policies regarding firearms, I refuse to use PayPal, and would encourage others to follow suit.

I'm somewhat confused..what is a virtual debit card?what does this mean?
I use a reloadable debit card for my PP, does this mean I won't be able to use it anymore.

No, PayPal allowed you to create "virtual" (electronic) Mastercard debit cards that you could use to buy from merchants who do not accept PP.
Those cards could be either single-use or for multiple transactions. Say you want to buy from a merchant that does not offer secure check-out, you would create an ad-hoc card in your PP account and that card was limited to that single transaction.

ahhh....Thanks.
Thats a pretty cool idea,,shame they are taking it away.
For all the bad things people say about PP I have never once in over 300 transactions had a problem.
In fact I recently had to open a dispute with a BF member who didn't ship my knife he said it was shipped to the wrong addy, but:jerkit:
PP refunded my money immediatly,,I was very happy with they're CS.
