Bagwell at The Alamo

Beautiful knife, before enrolling me in this forum the knives of Bagwell they were among the preferred ones, now I love them-
Thanks Joe!

WOWOWOWOW. Every time I see another damascus knife of Bill's I keep thinking that I should maybe god for another Damascus one but I still think ya need at least one plain carbon Bagwell about the house. :D I was thinking bout crown stag for my next one too and that is a lovely piece.

That'd be a lovely knife for Bill to have as his own. Though I can imagine Joe that you'd love to have it with all your others.

How big is the Hell Belle that Bill has on the bench. My brother's father in law was enquiring about one and he's 6ft9 and is just massive. He has to not only duck going through a door but also turn because he's that wide. Guess he'd get a big blade off Bill.

The Alamo Bowie has some great lines to it. A period looking piece with a very effective and beautiful blade. A very unique piece
This knife is Bill's personal knife for the time being. I have asked him when he decides to sell it to please let me have first crack. I know he really likes the feel on this piece so it might be a long wait:D he has more than a few orders to fill and he likes to stay on schedule. So I can imagine it is hard to take time out to make one for yourself. As I am sure alot of you makers know when you make a knife for yourself someone see's it and wants to buy it Bill has that same issue .

Pootsy the big Helle's Belle is done and has been delivered to it's new owner It has a 14 1/2 inch damascus blade I have the pics but I am waiting for some more from Bill. I will post them when I get them.

That's a big blade and must look fantastic for a Hell Belles.
Yea I just don't know what I want for my next one. Might actually give you a ring Joe and actually talk to you in person :D. See if you have any suggestions and just to talk about the fantastic man that is Bill Bagwell :)

wow...thanks for posting joe.....very cool blade and nice pics of he alamo.....ryan:thumbup:

I'm not normally a Bowie type of guy but that is one impressive knife, I'd be more than happy to own that one. :)

Probably my favorite Bagwell to date. Joe, how long ago was it made?

Looking forward to touring the Alamo again in a couple months at the ABS Show.

Hi Kevein that knife was made in the last month or so. Hopefully Bill will get bored with it but I think it might be awhile for I see it:D. I have been to the Alamo when I went to the Grand Slam convention a few years back . I am sure you will enjoy it.

Thatsa niiiiiiiice!!! This knife is speakin' to me. What a beauty.

Thanks for sharing the pics, Joe. The Alamo adds to the presentation.

Oh, and I can honestly say I wish I could shoot like a lady :). Sidra has quite an impressive record!

Beat the drum, Joe!
Another Alamo and Bagwell fan.
Great pics and story.
And response.

Thanks! :)

Gorgeous Bowie...
and you snag them right off Bill's belt. :D

Doug

Whats up Rob hope all is well. Thanks

Doug when Bill was making this one I could tell he seemed very pleased with it he said it really felt good. All his stuff feels good so I am anxious to feel this one. I like that he has been carrying it and this only adds to the knife for me. Not that he refered to it as the Alamo bowie but for me it will allways be. The pics are a nice touch also

normally not a huge fan of any crown stag, but that one just is spot on.

You gonna end up with it Joe?

Bill said he would give me first crack . Bill is a man of his word so eventually it will come my way..

How have ya been Matt give me a call

Very nice! I am not a huge fan of crown stag normally, but that is a very interesting treatment he did on that piece. Whats up with these knife guys finding women who not only tolerate their hobby/vocation, but participate!!! Between Mssrs. Bagwell and Desrosiers, I am getting a tad envious of late...lol.;)
