Baldric Carry?

I'd imagine this would swing like crazy, even pivot some. The dual-ring attachment point, helps keep the knife flat against your body. At least, this was my experience in carrying a canteen this way.

Here is a Baldrig from Pail Long with multiple attachment points for a Jason Knight Khukuri

Another Khukuri

If you want to use Kydex Ben Tendick sell a great shoulder rig for hawks and knives

Any shoulder strap can be looped into a belt loop of a leather sheath which can then be placed over the shoulder.

A knife purse. It's not a purse; it's a man bag.

There’s a reason why sheaths are called pants, even if the blade is female!

I've been watching that one from Ben. I'm getting one for sure. Also, what Joe pictures looks ideal with the two clips that could go right onto rivet holes in kydex.

Its a good carry option when wearing a jacket. It can be achieved with little modification, if any at all, to the sheath. As stated above, simply putting a strap through the belt loop would work. A paracord cobra weave could make a good sling. Even using a strong zip tie to make a loop through the belt loop the attach a strap with some kind of clips or d rings etc.

After my googling around, I've seen this attachment:

The top looks like it would work for me, I'd just have to find a sling. Nobody out there has a current baldric setup they would like to share?

Well, it took me 7 years, but I finally got my Baldric carry setup!

Have you tried both straps on one side?
Looks like you have a good set up with lots of adjustability.....I'm going to have to do something, too with my big set up

What’s that?
SHUKA setup for shoulder holsters. You can carry tip up, or put an extension to ride lower tip down. Having support matters to not have the strap dig into your neck. I used to carry machete’s in sheaths with a belt worn like a bandolier and it can be super convenient or a pain in the neck.

I hope you find something that works well for you.

I’m not sure how I feel about the knife being upside down. If I have a knife that size, I could carry it on my belt. I’ve been exploring baldric carry for all my large choppers, which don’t don’t carry so well on a belt.

Understood- I thought you might be interested if adding extensions to let it ride lower tip down.
