Baldric rig for MC ?

Here’s the strap I was referring to before. Not much to look at, but it works pretty well for horizontal carry.

I was just messing around with a similar DYI carry fir my HDMC ... I was trying different clips ... from the same type you used to carabiner clips and the screw together clips ...

And I used an old leather rifle sling and a couple straps from range bags or bags like that ... I think it would still work with a pack on if I didn't want to lash it to my pack ... it's nice in the fact you can change how it rides just by changing to holes you use ...

And most of the time I'm off trail or in the woods I open carry ... but if not I carry right side ... and occasionally in a shoulder sling bag with a quick zip pocket to carry in.

I emailed back and forth with Brian; said he needs some more minimum numbers order-wise to make the MC sheath (Randall pattern) a go.
That sheath would be perfect for the baldric with the hole/attachment spacing

The only thing I need is to experiment with an elastic leg strap if I wanted to run. It has a nylon webbing one included. It fit’s awesome and the weight doesn’t matter much when carried like this. I’ve just been running around the house to try it as I just opened it about 30 minutes ago.

No problem, I made em . I used 3/4" Stainless D-Rings , kydex and 1/4" eyelets . Having this little setting tool is a big plus.
