Stationary show is not open to the public, right?
Is this designed as a kubotan type tool?.
I am fairly sure it is intended as a toy/dexterity builder. I don't believe they were built with being used as a kubotan in mind at all.
I don't really get the kubotan/pens hype myself, but I'm into the balisong/pen hype, we just have different tastes. (and remember, "all that" is not necessarily $70, just buy it from an online knife store)If it was id buy one as it is if its not a solid kubotan type pen then i cant think of one reason i need to spend all that on a pen.
I dont get the hype over this if its just a pen not at this price.
$55bucks for an American product retails at like $85+ in AustraliaI'd like to remind everyone that 70 is the MSRP which means you'll be able to buy them probably for around 55. A normal Fisher Pen costs anywhere from 30 to 70 bucks depending on the material used for the casing. So even at 30 dollars for the pen itself is another 25 too much to ask for the quality of a USA made balisong casing? I think everyone needs to stop crying about the price. This is a cool pen in a groundbreaking design that's been worked on for years. Cough up the 55 bucks ya cheap ba$tard$ and stop your whining.
