Hey is that a hintNow a 52100 tomahawk would be fantastic.
I drifted one today with a taper, not really happy with it but Oh WellGot the email and tracking # today. USPS says it's due to be delivered on saturday. I'm already pondering different methods of attaching it to a handle.
I can drill up to 2 inch's after that it's a boring bar, this thing the way it is can be swung like a bat or choked up on and use like a hammer.Who would suspect a walking cane for a war club though especially when you've got the bussiness end concealed in you hand![]()
Worked on one today Bigfattyt,i get it post up as soon as it's readyThat is exactly what I was thinking. Especially with an antiqued finish, or even an engraved finish.
I was thinking about a root ball cane, or other type.
I don't need a cane or walking stick. But if you had one of these on a walking stick, man that would hit with some force!
I'd be real interested. Although I'm out of work (again) and I don't have enough time to use the toys that I already have.
I went to wally world, as I haven't been out of the house in 3 days due to a Final I have in a class tomorrow, and looked at tow balls. They would work, but you would have to figure out how to anneal them.
BTW, someone bought a tow ball, used it, and then returned it. You could tell cause all the chrome was missing from where it had been worn off in use. Some people really blow my mind as to how cheap they are.
That being said.
One of these days I'm going to get a special made something or other from Coal Creek Forge.
Axe, spike hawk, spontoon hawk, ball mace, or a Tomahawk... something or other.
I drifted one today with a taper, not really happy with it but Oh Well
I forged a Tomahawk out of one, really beefy and stout.Never do that againMy thought is, sure some cheap sucker used the tow ball and returned it. What makes me angry, is that the Muliti billion dollar profit machine Walmart took that obviously used, damaged ball, and put it back on the shelf with the same price tag on it!
I see this a lot at Walmart. Used items, obviously worn, put back on the shelf with full price tags on them.
I mean, really, I can see buying a used hitch no problem. Still has lifetimes of use left in it, but is sure as heck is not new.
Walmart should resell it as used, and take a few dollars lost on a Blem or Damaged price!
The taper worked out fine, just chewed the ball up a bit more than i like.IMO you really don't need a full taper on these. A half or 1/4 length taper in the eye would work just fine.
As soon as Photobucket get's straightened out i'll show you somrthingNecker version??![]()
Mmmm yummyIf it's light enough to neck carry it's not a mace--it's a drumstick!![]()
Are they christmas ornaments? Some type of prototype of flail?
Are you testing Morning Stars? There are 8 of those there! They cant all be ball maces.... can they?[/QUOTE
