Fellow sharks..... I dug up this old thread to re-recommend the HI Bamboo Cutter.
I'm tellin ya folks - this is one heckuva knife. Its the perfect hybrid between a BIG chopper & a machete.
It handles way bigger stuff than a machete & its much easier to use on smaller stuff than a chopper.
Takes a killer edge with a thick spine behind it & swings easy.

Perfect! I was out there today a-hackin' & a-hewin'....its just right for cutting stuff like thick-stalked reeds and.... bamboo
