Bamboozled weekend with machetes

Great pics and video. Man that is some serious bamboo. I need to plant some here. There is a bamboo farm up the road in Richmond Hill, Ga. Some of their varieties are huge, like 6" diameter. It's got to be good for something. What you have shown is great. Nothing out machetes a machete!:D
 
Wow, looks like it would be quite a bit of fun to chop down the Bamboo. Great tree.
 
Chopping bamboo with a machete has got to be one of my funnest :) outdoor activites.

I guess that sounds strange but there is something satisfying about it.

On the same line with splitting wood.
 
Care to throw another sharp into that bamboo grove, Joe? I may know someone who has a baby parang-u-tang laying around.
 
There is PLENTY to go around mr mag....PARANGUTANG? That has enough syllables to make it work!
