I will start this off buy saying that this entire thread of knifes look fantastic!!! I am thinking my AK or NMFBM needs this!!! But before I talk with the man does anyone know if having this treatment done voids the Busse warranty? Are the handles removed and reattached when the grind is done? Is there any other concerns with using the blade hard after it is refinished?

It voids the warranty, he removes the handle slabs, and you can use the steel as hard as you want after, it should be just as tough or tougher. The zero edge makes sharpening a breeze, slicing and chopping are noticeably increased.

Get the AK Banned and then post some pics.!!!

i think Banned blades are overhyped!!! Especially the BT4 LE.... i hear some hack does his heat treat!! This is one of mine!!
