Why did no one tell me of this masterpiece earlier??? I just found this blade online and it's perfect! A clip point, thicker stock, proper length and an assortment of handle materials! I will be ordering one, possibly TWO! of these blades ASAP!

So those who have already bought and used these awesome bushcraft blades sound off and give me your reviews please.

There's a smaller version coming out in a few months, called the Gunny. I can't wait for that!!

There's a longer version coming out this year too.

The B-1 is not much of a slicer due to the thick stock and convex grind making it "wedge slice," but it is bombproof, fantastically ergonomic, and will cut anything.

Mine's a drop point by the way.;)

Gave one to the sis in law for her Captain ceremony. Now I gotta get one for myself. A longer one you say? How much longer? 9 inch blade? longer than that? I can only hope!!

Rumor has it a bravo II is coming out! supposedly alot bigger!:D

So does rumor give a rumored date more or less?

Doh! it is a drop point, don't know why I thought it was a clip..... though a clip point would be better.

I've handled the Bravo-1 and I've got the Gameskeeper it was based on. Also a very big, tough bushcraft knife. I tried it out in the kitchen and found it effective on a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, although I normally use a very thin blade, either an ulu or a nessmuk.

The B-2 is rumored around 7" though some want it closer to six.

No date yet, it's not up on the production schedule for this quarter.

I like the Bravo-1 - hefty and with a full-grip handle. The blade edge from hilt to beginning of belly sweep is as sharp as I've ever got a knife. The only thing sharper is the full length of my daughter's mini_Canadian. That Bravo-1 will slice like no tomorrow!

Here's a comparison pic: Bravo-1, Candaian Camp, and North Star:

Stretch I really dig your Canadian Camp. Is that the green canvas micarta? If Uncle Sam gives me back some money this year I'm going to have to get one of those.

The Bravo 1 has performed well for me. Good size, good wieght, and an AWESOME edge.

This pic was taken over a year ago. The knife isn't mint anymore, but she's still a beauty.

Ilbruche, it's natural canvas, and a very big blade. This is a gentleman's chopper!

If you're going to get one of the micarta or stag handles, I'd recommend going to knifepro.com. They don;t have a large selection, but you'll save about $40 or $50 bucks! I like the natural and green canvas.

The Bravo 1 has an overall perfect shape and design, the size is the best IMO for 99% of field chores. The handle feels great, and it's as solid as a tank. My only gripe is the thickness. If they made a 3/16ths version that would be the ultimate. But it is a great knife.

Yes a 3/16", 5 1/2" blade would be perfect for me, heck a 6" blade in the current thickness would be even better!

Ther bravo 1 is a fantastic knife. Very strong, sharp and comfortable. It is a very soplid performer.

I really like the Bravo-1. Though, I find the blade a little thick for my tastes. I'm also not into thumb ramps, but that wasn't a problem. I just removed mine.
