Hi everyone,
I've been looking around Bark River's website & I really like what I see.I like the non-flashy,simple design & all the different handle options. Also like the fact that they use A2.From what I've been reading here about them is all good stuff.Like out of the box hair-popping sharp convex edge. They have Knifeworks.com as one of their dealers, but they don't even have a BRK catagory. They probably did in the past.I'm looking for a BRK dealer that accepts paypal, because I have more $$ in my pp acct. than anywhere else.
Thanks in advance for any & all help:)

Let’s see if we can find the right forum …

Thanks a lot noss:thumbup:That's just what I was looking for.

Sorry about that Cougar.I realized it was in the wrong subforum after I hit the button.

There is also knives ship free. com and DLT Trading company.com real good people to do business with.

There's also at least one dealer on Ebay that sells at a set price. I'm sure they take PayPal.

Thanks for all the helpful feedback guys.

What I really need to do is upgrade my membership & just buy one here.;)

You don't have to upgrade your membership to buy stuff in the exchange, just to sell. Even registered users can buy or trade.

WOW:eek: I didn't know that.Thanks alot!

Now I just gotta figure which one I want. They're all so dang nice!;)

You'll be spending a small fortune soon!
Try Crystal Falls Trading Company, they have treated me very well and I don't even live in the US so they take good care of all customers.
McKnight cutlery is another very good source who takes paypal. use Google for the exact addresses etc.
Frankly, in this day and age if a dealer does not take paypal then I won't consider them.

This is gonna take awhile. So far I'm really liking these two,but I haven't even begun to scratch the surface. There are so many great models. When I do buy one I'll post pics.I got a new much better camera than my old one.

Once again,Thanks for all your help guys:thumbup:

and Parker, I didn't & won't forget about your offers. It just takes me kind of a long time to make a decision on a new knife.

You're heading in the right direction with KSF - Derrick is good people, tell him I say Hello.

I've decided to get an Aurora. It's the perfect size for me.Not too fancy handles, maybe the black, green,or red micarta with regular pins(although I'm really lovin' the tiger micarta handles w/mosaic pins, but it's a little too much over my buget).
Most likely get it in about a month or so,cause there's still a couple of folders that I simply must have;) & have been waiting awhile to get them.I'm guessing you guys know that feeling:D

Thanks so much to all of you for all the fast & helpfull advice:thumbup:

JTR, keep in mind that BRKT makes knives in batches, and there can be a wait between batches if it's not one of the super-popular models. If there's an Aurora available from a stocking dealer right now that you want, it might or might not be there in a month. If it's not there, you might end up waiting until the next batch is made... which could be a while. I'd recommend buying the Barkie now, and (assuming that they're production models) getting the folders later.

FoxholeAtheist,Thanks for the heads up:thumbup:Unfourtunately,I just bought two of the three folders I wanted.Wish I knew that about 8hrs ago.:o
That's OK though.I can wait a couple months if need be.I'm in no big rush.Who knows,in a couple months time, maybe I can get the one I really want(tiger micarta handles with mosaic pins)I'll be happy with just about any Aurora though.:)

JTR, in case you're not aware, Bark River has a very active section on KnifeForums. One of their posts is the 2008 Production Schedule, and I don't see that he's even got the Aurora showing on it yet. When it does show up, you can contact any stocking dealer and put in an order for whatever handle/pin combination you want, and they'll make one for you the next time they produce a batch of Auroras. It's also possible that they still have some blades hanging around the shop from the last batch they made, and could whip one together for you, but you'd have to call the shop to find out.

Best of luck!
