Bark Rivers are nice knives, great carbon steel, multitudes of handle choices, and reasonably constant runs for a semi custom shop. The only real negatives Ive seen for the casual buyer is that sometimes of the year some of the models are sold out, and there is a little "witchcraft" to the convex blade, (Sorry but fully zero ground convex edges at 10deg are NOT stronger than a flat saber ground blade at 40, that's just ridiculous. For the non believers, Mike has said so himself. (They just cut SO much better) But in my personal experiences, Mike Stewart has been nothing but a gentleman, and a VERY generous one at that.
