I am the original owner of this Bark River Mountaineer II (bought in 2021). Steel is Cru-Wear. Handle is green canvas micarta.
The knife is definitely a user, but in my humble opinion, better than when it was new. When I bought the knife I thought the geometry was a little thick so I thinned the bevel. You can see the marks in the pictures. The edge is hand sharpened to 19 degrees at 600 grit and stropped lightly. The leather sheath is in perfect shape. It is very secure, never oiled, just protected with Renaissance Wax.
