Bark river's knife steel chart

I would advise you to put the can opener down. Internet banter from men like Jerry Fisk, Tom Maringer, Ethan Becker, Bob Cargill, Will Fennel, Chris Reeve, Anthony Lombardo, the FBI, the state of Illinois, plus a federal indictment & conviction with time served for bank fraud all carry a hell of a lot more weight than your incessant shill posts. Have a good one, friend of Smoothie (I don't know Stewart's real name, only that he changed it).

and if anyone wants to get back on subject, the chart looks fine to me.

Funny, I'm talking about the quality of Bark River's steels, which you admit to never using;

...but somehow use think that your personal vendetta makes it OK to badmouth the product.

If you truly wanted to stay on topic, you would have never posted in this thread.

I posted in this thread about the steel chart, and how it looks fine. You want to take it somewhere else, then let's go, BF has a pretty good archive. Otherwise, stop directing posts at me.

Bark River Knives speak for themselves and I have yet to break a BRK!
I have BRK's in various steels and they all work well in my knives.

Here's 3 in A2 with different edge-geometries.

The Rogue at the top is thinner, than the middle Rogue and the Scagel Large Bowie at the bottom.
As I use knives, I prefer the thicker knives and they are strong enough for my more or less abusive tasks!

To me Bark River Knives have added a lot of fun to my hobby and personally I have always been treated well by Mike Stewart.

What's the burl on that middle one, looks pretty good. Does it have much chatoyance?

That's Amboynia Burl and it has a medium chatoyance, wich means it pops in the sunlight, but not as much as Mother of Pearl.

The scales are fastened with 4 pins and 4 BRK mini-Corbyscrews.
The bolster is also fastened with those inhouse manufactured mini-Corby's.

The knife itself is one of my favorite BRK's and I sometimes pack it in the bottom of my daypack, when camping.

Another BRK with more chatoyance than the Amboynia is this Sperati Point with black&brown Maple burl.

The steel is Sandvik 12c27 and again, I think BRK does a great job with this steel!
I have used this knife hard, for two months at my work and it still looks as good as new!
