I agree 100%. I have several of these old Imperial and Colonial Barlows. They take a great edge and hold it comparably to, or a little better than, Case SS and SAK's.OH YEA she's gut sum good steel in them blades:thumbup:
Be sure to get a CKRT M4 with walnut handles! The MODERN Barlow; thumb stud, liner lock, AO.

Ix-nay on the stud and modern liner lock. They don't meet the definition of "Traditional".
That's why I said "modern" barlow. Times change and sometimes (not often) for the better.
My first real collection was about 80 traditional barlows. Of course that was 50 years ago.

The fact that you identified it as a modern Barlow doesn't mean it belongs here. If it's got a liner lock and thumb stud it doesn't. Keep it traditional, please.
