Depending on brand, with a broken spring I would have tried talking him down to $3 to $5, since it will need repaired ... presuming you can find a donor knife cheap ... maybe an old Imperial "Prov. RI" or "Ireland" with the "clam shell" construction, (carbon steel springs) or a Rough Rider (stainless steel springs).
Didn't seem worth the headache...but man I wish this wasn't $349!!!

Sure R8shell - just examples of old classic barlow knives. Not so much recently-manufactured knives, but rather the historical inspiration for the recent ones. Singles, groups, collections, wheels, however you’d like to present them.

There's that SC Co Barlow again. Any more information on that one. Don't know why I'm so curious, just haven't seen one before. Looks very cool.
BTW, I like your avatar. Big Jeep wave from a fellow Jeep owner.

Thanks - the knife is from Southington Cutlery Co. and is likely over 100 years old. I bought the Jeep new in 1994. So far, it’s got over 260k on the odometer (which still works!). Me and that little Jeep get along really well - I’d miss it if something ever happened to it.
