Barlow Showtime come one, come all!

A very nice pre-CC sunny! I like the simple lines, and traditional spear blade. It smacks of primitive, yet looks well made (he was good in his day!). Perfect blend of art and craft!!

That is precisely what I thought..:D I love all the stuff that he actually built. Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks,

If I read Levine's guide correctly, this Russell 100 year Commemorative Issue barlow was made by Schrade in 1975. They did a fine job on it.
Thanks Santa. I knew being a good little boy would pay off.

Rusty, I like that bolster stamp! MAC and Schrade had a great long term relationship. They hade quite a few knife collaborations, especially with anniversary knives.

Haven't been here in a while and what do I find when I get back...BARLOW HEAVEN! I've been collecting 'em for a few years now and have over a hundred, but you guys have shown me I've only just begun. And that I also need a camera.

OK, new year's resolution buy more Barlows!

Keep up this great thread.

LANNY:cool:

WOW GUYS! Apologies for resurrecting such an old thread, but I just LOVE all these old Barlows. :D
I've just seen Barlows in here by names I'm not familiar with too. Take "Blood Brothers" for instance, and "Cripple Creek" as well.
I's a shame that some of the images are no longer hosted here though. :(
